Sanford Rose Associates® is pleased to announce being named as one of the 100 Best Franchise Brands for Military Veterans based on a nationwide survey of veterans who own franchises. The Veterans & Franchising 2014 special report, released this week by research firm Franchise Business Review, narrows down the vast array of franchise opportunities available to military veterans by highlighting the 100 franchise companies rated highest in franchisee satisfaction by military veterans who were surveyed. Franchise Business Review’s research looked at survey feedback from over 3,500 military veterans who are current franchise owners. The national study included over 350 leading franchise companies, and the resulting list of Top 100 franchises was based exclusively on franchisee satisfaction among veteran franchise owners.

Molly Rowe is the Editorial Director at Franchise Business Review and reports regularly on today’s top franchise opportunities and the latest trends in franchising. Molly oversees Franchise Business Review’s research and the publishing of FBR’s annual Top Franchises Guide, Top Low Cost Franchises Guide, and many other specialty franchise reports. Please read an excerpt from her article below:

The answer is two-fold, franchisors tell us—they want to give back to vets and they see a real synergy between the skillset required for the military (the ability to follow directions, work in teams, and lead) and the skills necessary to succeed in franchising.
